Message from Artistic & Executive Director Fay Nass
Over the last year and a half, we have been reminded of the unexpectedness of life and the resilience of the art communities. At the frank, we embraced the beauty of uncertainty and held on to the only thing that was certain — our commitment to our community. By being imaginative, proactive and flexible, we were able to bring ambitious projects through new digital forms to our audiences and to continue our advocacy for social justice through art. Today, we stand in a place where we can look back at the past 20 months and look forward to life resembling what we once knew. As we celebrate the 2021-2022 season, we are mindful of everything that we have learned and will continue to bring live and digital programming to our audiences that ask important questions, challenge the form and connect us despite physical and philosophical distances. Thank you for your support of the frank and we hope to see you soon in the actual or virtual world.
